Strength of a woman

What makes the Indian woman so strong? She might be full of anxiety but here's why she scores high on the life's chart....

A recent survey revealed the Indian women are the most stressed out in the world. A few days later, another survey put forth the view that  women are also the most optimistic in the world. So we decided to highlight the most defining qualities of an woman which make her successful, personally and professionally. How she handles the pressure of work and home. How she juggles numerous chores all at once. While most agree that the woman has too much on her plate which results in high stress levels, most feel that it is due to her other characteristics that she has learnt to be optimistic in the face of severe hardship.

According to Psycho-spiritual doctor, Ashleyy K.S., "women are the most patient and tolerant apart from the Japanese. They are family-oriented and know how a keep things together. They come from a culture that is positive and spiritual, it helps them too."

WHAT THE SURVEYS SAY?
  • A survey of 6500 women across21 developed and developing countries revealed that indian women are most optimistic about opportunities for growth with 78 percent of the lot confident about better financial stability and better chances for education for their daughters.
  • According to a study by global research firm Nielsen, Indian women across the world are the most stressed for time with 87 percent of respondents stating they they felt stressed most of the time and 83 percent claiming they had no time to relax.
MIND OVER MATTER

There are many issues cropping up when it comes to indian women because of the hign stress and pressure they undergo every day. While they are professionally and personally in a better space, there are two diseases cropping up due to the high stress. There is a huge rise in cancer, especially breast cancer (one in 10) and thyroid problems, both of which are highly stress related. Yoga nidra and meditation are key to her well-being.    :Ashleyy
